This prestigious contract comprises almost 11km of VibraTek sensor cable segmented into 64 detection zones using Detection Technologies' DuoTek signal analyser units. Each DuoTek analyser will be linked to the central control room on site by an existing optical fibre communications network and will avoid the need for any field based system adjustments. The contract was won in the face of stiff opposition but the invaluable assistance and expertise of their Spanish agent combined with the undisputed technical advantages that the VibraTek / DuoTek system offers, the opposition was overcome and Detection Technologies won the day.
